(Our First 100 Years)

In 1907 the first "class" of boys (Kennebec was an all boys camp until the 1990's) gathered to spend a summer along the shores of Lake Salmon in Belgrade, Maine. Little could they know the tradition of life-inspiring memories they were originating.Our second 100 Years begins in the summer of 2006, when we celebrate our 100th Season as a traditional, family values summer camp.

We go into our Second 100 Years, embracing the very same high quality program, lead by exemplary staff, attracting the finest boys and girls from all over the world. Campers from the last 100 years return every summer to visit, who still insist this camp has instilled in them the respect for self and others, that has made them the fulfilled adult, successful family leader and inspired citizen they are today.

Nestled along the shores of Lake Salmon in Belgrade Maine, our one of a kind combination Top Junior Golf School and Top Junior Tennis School has been Re-Tooled. Once the Premier Summer Camp is now the idyllic setting for Junior Golf Camps and Tennis Camps for boys and girls age 8 -17. They come from over 30 countries around the world and almost every state in the United States.


Your Home on the Course

The Maine Golf and Tennis Academy offers in addtion to Top Junior Golf School and Tennis School quality instruction, a wonderful adventure camp with many fun activities. We offer an experiential education-style program, based on the kinship of fun and learning. Every summer since 1907, new campers arrive, participate in the camp's traditionas, add thjeir own special mark to our growing numbers, and enjoy a summer that lasts a lifetime.
