Driving Directions to Maine Hockey Camps

20 minutes north of Augusta, Maine
70 minutes north of Portland, Maine and the airport at Portland, Maine
2 hours north of Portsmouth, NH
3 hours 15 minutes north of Boston
7 hours north of New York City

From the South: Come into Maine on Route 95 North. Traveling North on Interstate 95, take either the Maine Turnpike or 295 North as both funnel into 95 North. One hour north of Portland is Augusta Maine. In Augusta take Exit 112 B (Old 31 B) Right (Rts 27, 8, & 11) towards Belgrade Lakes. After ten miles, route 27 goes straight and you turn right continuing on Route 8 & 11. Follow Routes 8 & 11 North (Right) towards Oakland. Go three miles. Stay on Route 11 ( Bear Right) when Rt 8 bears left in N. Belgrade. After 1 mile take Left onto Taylor Woods Road (your first Left). The Maine Hockey Academy is 150 yards on your right! From the North: Traveling South on Interstate 95. In Waterville take Exit 127 (Old Exit 33), Exit off ramp Right towards Oakland. Follow signs through Oakland on Route 11 (5 minutes) then head South on Route 11 towards Belgrade, leaving Oakland. Go five miles and you will pass a beverage distribution plant on the left side of the road called Valley Distributors (10 minutes). One mile past Valley Distributors is our road called Taylor Woods Road. Turn Right on Taylor Woods Road. The Maine Hockey Academy is 150 yards on your right! Turn on to our dirt road and park in the parking lot. See you soon!

FROM THE NEW YORK AREA

If starting South of New York City, take Interstate 95 North to the Delaware Memorial Bridge to the New Jersey Turnpike. Follow the New Jersey Turnpike to the George Washington Bridge and then onto the Major Deegan/New York Thruway North (87). Take the New York Thruway North to the Cross Westchester Expressway (287) heading East. Then take Interstate 287 East to Interstate 684 North. Take Interstate 684 North (towards Brewster, NY) to Interstate 84 East. Get onto I-84 East and take it into Connecticut and all the way to the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90).
(If you are coming from Central Connecticut, take either the Hutchinson River and/or Merrit Parkway or the Connecticut Turnpike (I-95) to Interstate 91 North heading towards Hartford. Then pick up Interstate 84 heading East towards the Mass Turnpike)

Take the Mass Turnpike (I-90) East to exit 10 and get onto Interstate 290 heading towards Worcester, Mass. Take Interstate 290 to the end and get onto Interstate 495 North. Take Interstate 495 North all the way to the end and get on Interstate 95 North. Take Interstate 95 North through Massachusetts, New Hampshire and into Maine. Once in Maine, get off at exit 44 for South Portland, which is Interstate 295 North. Take Interstate 295 North all the way to the end and then get back onto Interstate 95 North.

Follow Interstate 95 North and get off at exit 112B and follow routes 27, 8 and 11 to Belgrade for approximately 8-9 miles. Turn right onto routes 8 and 11 and follow for approximately 3-4 miles. You will see a blue directional sign for ‘Maine Golf and Tennis Academy ’ pointing to the right. Route 11 will curve to the right. Route 8 is to the left. Curve to the right turn staying on Route 11 towards Oakland. Taylor Woods Road will be approximately 1 mile on your left. Make the left turn and look on the right side for our sign into our driveway. The street sign says “Golf Academy Drive .”

FROM THE BOSTON AREA

Take I-95 North through Massachusetts, New Hampshire and into Maine. Get off at exit 44 for South Portland which is 295 North. Take 295 North through Portland. Once you get out of Portland, 295 will distinctly become Interstate 95.

Follow I-95 North and get off at exit 112B and follow routes 27, 8 and 11 to Belgrade for approximately 8-9 miles. Turn right onto routes 8 and 11 and follow for approximately 3-4 miles. You will see a blue directional sign for ‘Camp Modin’ pointing to the left. Route 11 will curve to the right. Route 8 is to the left. Make the left turn onto Route 8 towards North Belgrade. Camp Modin will be approximately 2 miles on your right. Make the right turn into our driveway. The street sign says “Modin Way.”

FROM LOGAN AIRPORT

Follow Interstate 93 North to I-95 North. Take Interstate 95 North through Massachusetts, New Hampshire and into Maine. Once in Maine, get off at exit 44 for South Portland, which is Interstate 295 North. Take Interstate 295 North all the way to the end in Gardiner, Maine at exit 51. Then get back onto Interstate 95 North.
Follow Interstate 95 North and get off at exit 112B and follow routes 27, 8 and 11 to Belgrade for approximately 8-9 miles. Turn right onto routes 8 and 11 and follow for approximately 3-4 miles. You will see a blue directional sign for ‘Maine Golf and Tennis Academy ’ pointing to the right. Route 11 will curve to the right. Route 8 is to the left. Curve to the right turn staying on Route 11 towards Oakland. Taylor Woods Road will be approximately 1 mile on your left. Make the left turn and look on the right side for our sign into our driveway. FROM PORTLAND AIRPORT

Head out of the airport. Pass the Hilton Hotel on your right and then the airport runway on your left. Come to the traffic light and the airport entrance and go straight through it. Follow the signs for Interstate 95 North. Make an immediate left turn at the Lewiston/Augusta entrance sign and get onto Interstate 95 North. Get off at exit 52, for Freeport/Falmouth and get onto Interstate 295 North. Follow it to the end at exit 51 and get back onto Interstate 95 North. Get off at exit 112B and follow routes 27, 8 and 11 to Belgrade for approximately 8-9 miles. Turn right onto routes 8 and 11 and follow for approximately 3-4 miles. You will see a blue directional sign for ‘Maine Golf and Tennis Academy ’ pointing to the right. Route 11 will curve to the right. Route 8 is to the left. Curve to the right turn staying on Route 11 towards Oakland. Taylor Woods Road will be approximately 1 mile on your left. Make the left turn and look on the right side for our sign into our driveway. FROM AUGUSTA AIRPORT

Go down the hill and make a left. Follow the signs to I-95. Take I-95 North towards Waterville and Bangor. Take exit 112B. Exit 112B puts you onto Routes 27, 8 & 11. Follow 8-9 miles and make a right onto routes 8 and 11 towards Oakland. Turn right onto routes 8 and 11 and follow for approximately 3-4 miles. You will see a blue directional sign for ‘Maine Golf and Tennis Academy ’ pointing to the right. Route 11 will curve to the right. Route 8 is to the left. Curve to the right turn staying on Route 11 towards Oakland. Taylor Woods Road will be approximately 1 mile on your left. Make the left turn and look on the right side for our sign into our driveway.
